Chocolate Orange Brownies
Chocolate and orange is a flavour combination made in heaven. These chocolate orange brownies are so easy to make, and a great way to use up any leftover Terry’s Chocolate Oranges from Christmas. The brownies are fudgy, chocolatey and soft with a delicious hint of orange. This easy brownie recipe takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and is so easy – the kids will love helping you make it!
Terry’s Chocolate Orange features prominently in our family Christmases. Every year since he was little, my husband’s gran would buy him a Chocolate Orange, and since she passed away I’ve taken on the responsibility because he needs one to watch World’s Strongest Man with (it might be a UK thing!). I usually try and wrap them up so he can’t guess what they are – reusing bubble wrap or fabric offcuts is a great way to disguise them, in case you need to do something similar!
I’m always wondering whether I can make a bake out of something, so a recipe for chocolate orange brownies was a no brainer. I found some mini Terry’s Chocolate Orange segments in the local supermarket and knew I was onto a winner!

How to Store Brownies
The best way to store brownies is in an air tight container at room temperature. The brownies will stay fresh for about 1 week but if your house is anything like mine, they won’t last that long because they are delicious!
The orange flavour will develop further the longer the brownies are left.
What’s the Difference Between a Brownie and a Blondie?
Traditionally brownies are made with milk or dark chocolate whereas blondies are made with white chocolate.
Brownie Recipe Variations
The basic brownie recipe is a great base for adding in other flavours.
Leave out the marmalade and chocolate orange segments and just have fudgy chocolate brownies.
Switch the marmalade and chocolate orange for other chocolate eg chopped up Twix, Mini Eggs, Smarties etc.
Why not try these Golden Oreo Blondies? Made with vanilla flavoured Oreos and white chocolate, these blondies are delicious. You might also like these Mini Egg Brownies and Chocolate Guinness Brownies.
